Basic to Professional Mehendi Course
A practice-led journey that takes you from your very first cone to confidently completing a full bridal design — and understanding what it takes to work as a professional artist.
Mehnaz teaches the way she wishes she had been taught: fundamentals first, honest feedback always, and plenty of real hands to practise on. Classes are kept small so every student gets personal attention.

- IIIntermediate — CompositionArabic and Indian design flow, front and back hand layouts, feet designs, filling techniques, speed and consistency, practice on real hands.
- IIIProfessional — Bridal & BusinessFull bridal hands and feet, portrait and caricature elements, reverse and Zardosi-inspired detail, stain science and aftercare, client consultation, timing, pricing and building your portfolio.

Do I need any prior experience?
No. The Basic level is designed for complete beginners. If you already practise at home or do Mehendi for friends, Mehnaz will place you at the level that suits you.
How long is the course?
Duration varies by level and batch. Please enquire for the current schedule — Mehnaz will share what is open right now, along with timings and fees.
Are classes in-person or online?
Classes are primarily held in Kolkata. If you are outside the city, mention it in your enquiry and Mehnaz will let you know what options are available.
Will I practise on real hands?
Yes. Paper practice builds control, but real hands build confidence. Practice on hands is a core part of the learning journey.
Can I become a professional artist after the course?
The Professional level covers bridal artistry and the working side of the craft — consultations, timing, pricing and portfolio building. How far you go depends on your practice, but you will leave with the skills and direction to start.
Do students get to work on real events?
Mehnaz has created opportunities for students to develop their skills and work together professionally. Ask about this when you enquire.
